I’m 22 and I have cut soda and stoped eating junk. I’m a lot more active now that the weather is good. I haven’t lost a pound. I’m getting marriedn in september and I have a strapless gown and I don’t want to look like a cow. How can I lose weight fast but thats still safe for me?

Last week I started running and I walked for 2mins then ran for 16 walked for 2 then ran for another 10 followed by a cool down period of around 4 mins. That took me to about 5.3km just over 400calories. Is that good enough 3 times a week to lose weight? I know theres the diet and everything else but generally speaking is that a good regime?

In 2005 i was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and I’m "very overweight" (250 pounds). The doctor said I should think about losing some weight and start to exercise. I’ve had three back surgeries since 2001, I used to be a size five. But then I blew up to an astonishing size 22. I’ve tried throwing up my food but that I could never succeed at it even though Ive tried a thousand times. I’ve try marking down everything I eat, took weight loss pills and exercising to burn the extra fat. You name it, i’ve tried it.

Finally, in April 2008 my best friend introduce me a new technique of weight loss program. At first i was a bit sceptical since i’ve been ripped off a few times. But after joining the program, I’ve lost 30 pounds in the first month and currently my weight is 120 pounds. The truth is our own metabolism system play a vital part in controlling the amount of body fat burned in the process of providing energy to the body. my friend wants to lose weight an would also like to know if there are any good tips she could use.

Eat less fatty foods and do cardio workouts such as running and jogging. Even walking.

Eat in small meals every few hours not 3 big meals throughout the day. This will keep your metabolism going.

Be more active and just give it time. =]

I suggest eating whole wheat. Anything with fiber because that will kick start your metabolism and send it into over drive.

Turkey is the best meat to eat because it’s the leanest. Get smart balance butter. Any veggies or fruits would help. And get 1% milk instead of 2%.

I have recently decided to change my lifestyle (not dieting) but eating healthily so i lose weight and keep it off while becoming healthy. Most of this involves lifestyle changes as i am not an over eater, just not eating right… Diet, calories, sat. fats, sugar and salts i have all worked out. Now i need to work out an exercise routine. It needs to be at home, it needs to take into consideration that i am very unfit and at the moment very overweight. I cant afford to go out and buy equipment.

Jogging works well. Its cardio exercises that will burn calories and fat. Sit up’s, push up’s etc help build muscle. If you just do those without cardio, you’ll build muscle but they’ll still be covered my fat. You need to do both for good results.

WOOOOO! Day 8 of my Liquid Diet and I lost almost another 1/2 Pound.

Drink Your Water! Not doing so will affect your weight loss. Not drinking water actually makes you retain water and that weight will show up on the scale!

I was running around all day Saturday and I definitely did not drink as much water as I have been all the other days of my liquid diet. I got in maybe 1/2 of the water that I have been drinking. Not good! Water aids in shedding the pounds, so definitely make sure you’re getting a lot of it each day of your diet.

Anyway, I almost lost another 1/2 pounds, so I am pleased with that… and i learned a good lesson early on.

On this video I am giving a tip on making water more palatable and making sure you get in a lot. You should definitely drink regular pure water everyday, but I am just giving a tip on what I use to make water more drinkable for me. Try it out and let me know if it helps.
