Thanks a lot..these r many gud advices
spot reduction is almost impossible. there is no one exercise that you can do to flatten your stomach or shrink your hips, butt, back, legs or arms. you must do total body movements like the squat, deadlift or even push-ups.
these exercises GREAT for Men & Women and are NOT going to "bulk you up". they will actually help you build lean muscle tissue and this will help you burn fat!
I would suggest supersetting or interval training. it combines strength training(for building lean muscle tissue) and cardio(for fat burning). you don’t need any fancy equipment or an expensive gym membership.
example: squats, push-ups, pull-ups, mountain climbers(if you can’t do a push-up or pull-up=> use dumbbells or resistance bands & do a pushing exercise and a pulling exercise instead). do 15 reps of each back to back to back to back without resting. that equals 1 set. rest 30-60 secs. repeat. do 3-5 complete sets. Do this 3-4x/week.
If you noticed there are no sit-ups or crunches in this workout(I personally think sit-ups & crunches are a waste of time). the best way to burn fat and tighten up your midsection & core is through total body exercises!
these are very fast and effective workouts that won’t have you spending hours in the gym!
good luck!

I lost a lot of weight running, but it was murder on my lumbar discs - I was told I have degenerative disc disorder, and it led to surgery. Now I’ve gained some weight again, need to get it off, but running isn’t an option. What’s the next best exercise to burn calories fast?
Simply do nothing that involves your standing on your feet. Swimming is a great one or do chin ups.. you know.. grab a bar, a branch and lift your body up to your chin, then relax back down.
This will stretch your spine and it is the very thing that helps my spine decompress.
The only thing, it isn’t easy finding things to hang off of so I learned that I achieve the same thing by supporting my weight one hand on the table, the other on the kitchen and i leave my body hanging for 2 mins at the time.
Also for a normal (non drastic) diet that works I do this:

I’m 5′11 and 170 pounds. I wanna lose a little weight so I can see my abs more. Which is better, jogging/running for 45 mins, or the elliptical?
Most likely the elliptical is more efficient for your needs. It will cause less stress on your body, and the sores the next day will be a fraction of what the jog/run would be.
However, if you do want to keep your body in shape, but take longer to lose those pounds do the run. It burns less calories, sores up much more, but keeps your body in better shape than the elliptical.
So i would suggest using the elliptical over the run, if Wu want to lose weight more quickly. But if you can take the sores, and wish to stay in shape better, do the run.
Depending on how much you want to lose, check out the site i have attached, it will give you some tips on ways to lose weight.
Good luck and hope i helped!
