Fast weight loss is a bad idea, as it is never permanent, and can be physically harmful.
Lose weight slowly by eating somewhat less and exercising more. Permanent weight loss can only be obtained by modifying your behavior, and expecting to do that overnight is unreasonable.
Slow and steady wins the race.

I've recently watched a news report telling about a Russian scientist who lost about 90 pounds. The method's original and elementary! Every day he walked 1-2 hours in a special suit: several shirts, sweaters, a waterproof jacket, again sth warm and again a jacket. He got so hot he lost weihgt at each walk. He advised to start with this when it's cool and also said you wouldn't bear to walk more than 10-15 minutes first.
