i had my baby a month ago and now i need to get back into shape any health/exercise sggestions or diets for losing weight FAST i dont want answers like eat healthy and exercise please be in depth! thanks!
This personally worked for me. Everyone is different though.
Walked 1 hour every other day. I started myself on a high protein diet. The best diet I have found to this day, and it’s been 5 years now, is a diabetics diet. I had gestational diabetes and was put on a diet and I just kept to it. It’s wonderful. I also breastfeed for several weeks and that seemed to help as well. You can get a diabetic diet off online from several websites. The best thing to do is google it and find the one that you think you can stick to the easiest.
Good luck!

I’m sure you know this but you should wait for at least 6 weeks before trying to diet. However for immediate weight loss apparently breast feeding is the best and fastest way to lose weight.
I haven’t actually had my baby yet so I am not sure if this will actually work but I’ll give it a go LOL

I am going back onto Weight Watchers as soon as the baby is born!
All through high school and half of college, I was rail thin. But Graduate school took its toll on my waist. Then starting a job and getting married did not help. I went onto WW and lost my weight in about 6 months. What I like about it is that it makes you pay attention to what you eat and get educated about healthy choices. And the diet is healthy, which I feel is important for a breast feeding mother. Or any mother, as we want to be in tip-top shape to take the best care of our children.
If you gain fast, you can lose fast. Those of us who gain slowly, will lose slowly. Keep that in mind.
As for excercising, I intend to take my baby on walks. I will do my yoga (which I love) to get my body toned and strengthened as quickly as possible. I also really enjoy dance-inspired workout programs for cardio. Even better…I love my DDR!

eating a healthy diet free from empty calories and sugary drinks, and after 6 weeks beginning a light exercise plan like walking–nice to get the baby air too.
of course breastfeeding can really help the lbs melt away, in addition to a healthy lifestyle as mentioned above. its not really any one thing, its just making smart choices in your diet and activities…
to get rid of my baby weight (and there was quite a lot of it) i walked an hour or more a day and ate less, although i admit i did indulge in snacks. i cut out sodas and high fructose corn syrup. and eating fresh fruits and veggies is a good choice, as well as only eating whole grain products instead of enriched white flour products. its little things you do that really make a big difference because they are easy to stick to and really impact your daily calorie intake.
