i am only partly employed so i really can't afford it. and yet i've gotten fat, and I want to keep my weight in check, if only because I really can't afford to even buy new clothes! i've gone up two sizes in the last two years, and i'm really worried that i'll have to buy new pants again if i don't do something.

Quite simple

Eat less and go out for long walks/runs

You obviously have access to the www, so this site is PERFECT. It is a free weight management site, and has helped me to get rid of the majority of over 100lbs that I dropped.

diet and excerscise… Plan your meals ahead of time and don't buy anything fattening at the grocery store otherwise you'll eat it when you get home. If you live with someone eat healthy together.

As far as excerscise goes, buy a set of weights or bands, and do muscle strength by lifting the weights and cardio by dancing, running, swimming. Take the oppurtunity to move more…stairs instead of the elevator, park your car further away.

And if you do get a craving try chocolate covered strawberries verses a candy bar.

Easy as can be…watch what you eat, and exercise at least 5 days a week. You can walk, jog, dance, bike…whatever works for you that you already have the equipment for.

Hit Goodwill or a thrift store for clothing while you're working on getting down to your goal weight.

the first thing you need to do is keep a food diary, write down everything you eat and drink. then look to see if there are any patterns of overeating. make sure that you are drinking enough water especially in the summer. usually 6-8 glasses a day. you need to exercise and walking is free and you can walk anywhere in your neighborhood and even in the mall when the temp outside gets too high. find a friend to walk with you or plug in the and go all you need is good shoes. once you get that going add some weights such as canned food or milk cartons.
